Hero Zone expands free-roam VR game catalogue with Wizard Academy
Hero Zone has announced the launch of Wizard Academy, a brand-new addition to its range of free-roam virtual reality games. The team will showcase the new title at IAAPA Expo 2024 in Orlando next week and can be found at booth #654 from 19 – 22 November.
Hero Zone founder Sebastian Malvasi and director of sales Aziza Jarnija will be on-site to demonstrate the company’s operator-powered free-roam virtual reality solutions and answer operator questions.
“The Hero Zone free-roam VR platform is designed to ensure that operators have a wide range of fun, easy-to-play games to offer their guests, so we are pleased to invite IAAPA attendees to join the Wizard Academy,” says Jarnija. “We first explored the fantasy genre with our popular Arrowsong bow-shooting game, and we are excited to enable kids of all ages to feel the magic of being wizards in free-roam VR.”
Magical puzzles in VR
Wizard Academy combines captivating magical mysteries, engaging puzzles, and exploration, immersing players in a vibrant magical realm.
The game welcomes up to six players to don wizard robes as they compete to finish their final magical exam within a time limit. This collaborative puzzle game requires players to tackle various mystical challenges, cast spells, gather artefacts, and reveal secrets, showcasing their skills before time runs out.
Every task comes with unique challenges, such as brewing a potion of invisibility. The academy hosts quirky characters who can assist, including Edgar the Cat, the headmaster’s assistant. He may provide a clue about a task or guide players to a concealed item… if he happens to be in a good mood.
The Hero Zone team created the Wizard Academy in-house, making it the ninth game in the expanding collection of free-roam VR titles available at Hero Zone locations.
